At the Brier School we are committed to making it our mission to promote resilience and positive wellbeing for all our pupils and staff. We understand wellbeing as the state of being comfortable, healthy and happy. We will drive the message forward to ensure that mental health is “everyone's business” across the whole school community. We will strive to create an environment which has a whole school approach in providing excellent mental health support, understanding and intervention. We will place wellbeing at the heart of our school.
Our leader for Wellbeing is Mrs Troman - Assistant Headteacher.
The Brier School is proud to have achieved the Wellbeing Award for Schools (WAS) in 2019 for our commitment to emotional wellbeing and good mental health across our school community.
“The Brier School offers an outstanding example of how wellbeing and mental health can contribute to improvements and strengths across the whole of the school and community”.
