Diamond Class is a part of Gemstones Pod which consists of Year 7 and 8 pupils. The children learn in an exciting and stimulating environment, where we strive to make sure the children achieve to the best of their ability and we have lots of fun. The children are encouraged to be independent through cooking and PSHE lessons. We also aim to equip the children with basic life skills which can be built upon.

Suggested Home Learning

There are many ways parents can extend and support their child’s learning at home. Minimal input of resources and time can still heavily influence their learning. Easy low cost activities such as regular reading at home or simple word games can support children’s basic language skills; whilst offering experiences such as exploring the local community can build a child’s understanding of the world and support a range of areas such as maths and physical development.
