Home/Remote Learning
Home Learning
Parents are the primary teacher in a child’s life, influencing their thoughts, feelings and experiences in the world. If parents support and encourage their child’s learning at home, it will have a positive effect on their development.
We have also put together a selection of extra suggested home learning activities for parents / carers to use with their children. Use the links below to view / download our Home Learning Activity documents:

Oak National Academy
The Oak National Academy was created by teachers in response to coronavirus. It provides free video lessons, slides and worksheets which parents and carers may find useful in supporting their child’s learning. Lessons cover a broad range of subjects, from reception to year 11. There are no sign-ups or logins required.
Remote Learning
Where a pupil, class, group or small number of pupils need to self-isolate, or there is a local lockdown requiring pupils to remain at home, The Brier School will be able to immediately offer access to remote education. We will ensure remote education, where needed, is high-quality and aligns as closely as possible with in-school provision.
