The NAACE ICT Quality Mark
The NAACE ICT Mark is a quality assurance scheme recognising schools’ effective use of ICT to enhance teaching, learning, and school management. It is based on the Self‑Review Framework, an online tool that helps schools audit their ICT practice, identify strengths, and plan improvements.
To regain or obtain the ICT Mark, the school must have:
A whole‑school ICT strategic action plan with monitoring
A clear ICT policy and scheme of work
Planned ICT use across the curriculum
Assessment of pupil ICT progress
Staff professional development commitments
ICT use in management and communication
Partnership and community engagement in ICT learning
