We are a specialist SLD class with pupils from upper key stage 2 and lower key stage 3. We have developed the curriculum in order for it to suit our pupils' individual needs in order for them to develop and succeed. We provide a secure environment to develop your child’s confidence and their independent skills. We learn through a variety of creative and structured play sessions which are sensory and fun.
Please feel free to get in touch by home school diary, phone or email firstname.lastname@example.org, if you have any queries or concerns.
Each class produces their own termly newsletter to let parents and carers know what learning is taking place within their classroom. To read the Amber Class newsletter/s click on the link below and search for Amber Class.
Suggested Home Learning
There are many ways parents can extend and support their child’s learning at home. Minimal input of resources and time can still heavily influence their learning. Easy low cost activities such as regular reading at home or simple word games can support children’s basic language skills; whilst offering experiences such as exploring the local community can build a child’s understanding of the world and support a range of areas such as maths and physical development.
We have put together a selection of suggested home learning activities for parents / carers to use with their children. Use the link below to view / download our Amber Class Home Learning Activities document.
